Tap the nylon bushing into place on the pump then press the drive rod
into it. Now place the pump assembly onto the rear main cap. Torque
the pump retaining bolt to 55 .ft .lbs. Turn the engine over slowly
and check the clearance of the pump to crank counterweights. Usually
there are no problems with clearance however I have heard of instances
where the counterweight hits the pump.
