Tap the center of the piston slowly until the oil ring is close to the
cylinder, at this point use several sharp taps with the hammer to get
the piston the rest of the way into the cylinder. As you are tapping the
piston the rest of the way down use your free hand to guide the rod bolts
around the journal and into place. Now install the rods mating cap and
snug the nuts up.
