The top ring is the easiest to install. Start the gapped section of the
ring in it's groove with the rest of the ring angled up and over the
piston. Using your ring expander pliers slowly open the gap until the
opposite side of the ring will easily slide down and into it's groove.
Again don't over expand the ring as you will stress it or possibly
break the ring.
